Minerals
Managed from our Australian office, Tri-Star is an operator and investor in the global minerals sector. This division was set up to leverage Tri-Star’s resource industry expertise and diversify its portfolio outside petroleum.
In the past 5 years, Tri-Star has rapidly built a large portfolio of operated mineral exploration assets. Most of this portfolio is greenfield with high potential for discoveries. Tri-Star has also made investments via equities and non-listed entities in North America and Australia.
With its strong capital position, technical focus and long commodity outlook, Tri-Star is now looking to expand ideally at the asset level into gold and copper opportunities at resource or near resource status to de-risk through further drilling and project studies ahead of mine construction and operations.
EinGold, North Queensland
The EinGold portfolio, spanning 13 Exploration Licenses and applications over ~2,000 square kilometers, is prospective for intrusion related gold systems. The portfolio is located along strike from the historic 4Moz Kidston mine and adjacent to smaller current mining operations and necessary infrastructure.
South Australia Minerals
Tri-Star is the 100% holder of 24 Exploration Licenses covering more than 18,000 square kilometres. The greenfield exploration portfolio is targeting uranium, gold, copper, iron ore and other minerals including critical minerals and is adjacent to producing in-situ recovery type uranium mines in the Frome area.
Central Australia Minerals
Tri-Star is the 100% holder of 15 Exploration Licenses across the Northern Territory and South Australia which cover more than 8,500 square kilometres. Central Australia is an undercover, greenfield, frontier exploration project where several significant geophysical anomalies have been identified and targeting precious, base and critical minerals.
Saxony Minerals (Germany)
Tri-Star holds 12 Exploration Licences coving over 1,500 square kilometers in the Ore Mountains in Saxony Germany. The licenses are primarily prospective for tin, tungsten, lithium, copper, nickel and PGEs.
Tri-Star’s exploration efforts strongly align with the European Union’s goal of developing domestic resources to reduce reliance on imports.
