Anne Butler Tarr
Non-Executive Director
Anne Butler Tarr joined Tri-Star in 2013 and oversaw US operations and monetization of long-held West Texas properties during the Permian Basin shale boom. In 2018, Anne joined the Executive Management Team responsible for Tri-Star’s global operations. She stepped back from her role as Executive Counsel and US Company Secretary in 2024 to take on a strategic role as a Non-Executive Director on Tri-Star’s Australian and US Board. Anne will continue to be heavily involved in shaping Tri-Star’s corporate governance practices to serve and promote the best interests of the company and its family shareholders.
Anne graduated summa cum laude from Tulane University with a Bachelor of Science in Management, Bachelor of Arts in Asian Studies (Mandarin), and a minor in Music. She earned a Juris Doctor from Tulane University Law School and is a licensed attorney in Texas. Anne is also a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and is certified by the US National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD.DC).
