Bruce Blake
Senior Geophysical Advisor
Bruce has worked as Tri-Star’s geophysicist since 2016 on projects in Australia, West Texas, and the US Gulf Coast. His primary responsibilities include prospect generation and evaluation, seismic survey acquisition and processing oversight, and deal screening.
Bruce has worked in exploration on six continents for more than 45 years in a number of roles for various companies, the last prior to joining Tri-Star as part of Repsol’s exploration quality assurance team. He’s been privileged to have been part of several teams responsible for discoveries in Texas & Louisiana onshore & offshore, Bolivia, Morocco, and Libya.
Bruce earned a Bachelor of Science, Geophysics degree from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Houston Baptist University. He’s an active member of SEG, AAPG, SIPES, HGS, and GSH. He’s been happily married for 47 years and is blessed with three married daughters and seven grandchildren.
