Len Kolff

General Manager - Minerals

Len holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) degree from the Royal School of Mines, Imperial College, London, and a Masters of Economic Geology from CODES, University of Tasmania. Len brings over 25 years of mining industry experience in the design, implementation, and execution of exploration, resource evaluation, project studies, and appraisals for both major and junior resource sectors, across a wide variety of jurisdictions across Australia, Africa, and Europe.

With a proven track record in deposit discovery, Len most recently worked in West Africa, where he was instrumental in the discovery and evaluation of the Ewoyaa lithium project in Ghana with Atlantic Lithium and the discovery and evaluation of the Mofe Creek iron ore project in Liberia with Tawana Resources. Before this, Len worked at Rio Tinto for 16 years, where he was involved in several high-profile projects, including the Simandou iron ore project in Guinea and the Northparkes Copper-Gold mine in Australia.

Len's responsibilities encompass a broad range of disciplines, project identification, acquisition and divestments, design, implementation, and supervision of multi-commodity exploration and resource evaluation programs, studies, capital markets, team building, and collaboration.
