Matthew Jeffries
General Manager - Government, External Relations and Tenures
Matthew is Tri-Star Group’s General Manager - Government, External Relations and Tenures and joined the company in 2022. Matthew provides functional leadership for Tri-Star’s externally-facing and regulatory roles across Australia.
Prior to joining Tri-Star Matthew was a General Manager at the Minerals Council of Australia and has held government affairs and community roles at Santos Ltd. In addition, Matthew has served as a senior political advisor including as Director of Policy and Chief of Staff to various Opposition Leaders.
Matthew holds a Bachelor of Business majoring in Financial Economics from Griffith University and a Master of International Economics and Finance from the University of Queensland.
